The facilities
At Hvoll farm we have excellent facilities for our horses, including 1500 square meters of stables and riding hall, and plenty of land for them to roam freely. With over 100 hectares of surrounding land, it´s the perfect environment for keeping and caring for horses.
The riding trails in the area are exeptional and here we have the best available conditions for what in icelandic is called rekstur, where a group of horses run freely on the riding paths followed usually by a four-wheeler. A vital aspect of the horses training. Feel free to visit our stables during your stay and meet our horses.

Do you need a horse?
Ásgeir Svan Herbertsson has been in the horsetrading business for over 30 years. He has worked alongside his father Herbert Ólason who did run the horsefarm Hrafnsholt in Germany for 40 years. They have also collaborated with the operation of TOP REITER which is the most recognized brand on the Icelandic horsemarket.
